You then have to use the power button to turn on. Be sure again to also unplug the data connection to the LCD. If you unhook the extension you can connect power directly to the motherboard. That whole power extension fried for me in the fire. That extension creates a place for the 3-pin adapter to the LCD panel. There is also a 6-inch power extension Antec supplies to the 24-pin (20+4 pin) connection on the motherboard. Be sure to unplug both the data/USB connection to the LCD panel and the power to the USB. Conversely, you can try to use the box with the power to the LCD and data cable to the LCD panel disabled. It is a total PIA, but the replacement LCD panel they sent works (so far).
